Summary

This position is responsible for the design, development, testing and support of electrical systems across company products. This equipment includes but is not limited to: Boilers and Boiler Accessories. This position interfaces directly with other engineering personnel, shop staff, non-engineering department personnel and management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Program, configure and troubleshoot PLC logic and HMI screens.
  • Design electrical systems,
  • Create wiring diagrams and develop schematics.
  • Integrate sensors, actuators, drives and industrial protocols.
  • Work to meet industry codes and standards.
  • Debug control logic and electrical hardware
  • Order processing
  • Provide technical support to internal customers such as Plant Supervisors, third party installers, Customer Service and our Sales team
  • Travel to job sites as required to provide onsite technical support to customers or installers. Minimal travel
  • Other duties as needed

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning production software and systems
  • Able to read and interpret technical documents, such as technical drawings, schematics, safety rules, and quality procedures
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
