Electrical Engineer (PE) – MEP

Responsibilities

- Lead electrical engineering design for medium-voltage systems for commercial-type buildings

- Coordinate with internal MEP/FP/Tech disciplines and external architectural teams

- Manage projects, schedules, and client communication

- Host project meetings with internal staff and external partners

- Oversee design work and eventually supervise junior engineers/designers

- Prepare documentation compliant with and Florida electrical codes

- Contribute to lighting design, standby power systems, surge protection, and related systems

- Multi-task across multiple active projects in fast-paced environments

Qualifications

- 8–12 years in an MEP role

- Florida PE license required - or ability to obtain FL PE within 12 months

- Strong background in interior/exterior lighting, medium-voltage systems, standby power, surge protection

- Demonstrated project management and client-facing experience

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to lead project meetings and coordinate across disciplines

- Strong Revit proficiency required

- BS in Electrical Engineering
