A specialist power and mission-critical infrastructure business is seeking an Electrical Engineer / Power Systems Engineer / Engineer to support a large-scale power project supplying energy to a major data centre. This role sits on the power side of the operation, supporting the electrical systems that enable reliable power delivery.
This is an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with a background in power systems, industrial electrical infrastructure or environments to develop their experience within a major engineering project. The position is suited to an early-to-mid career engineer who is looking to take on meaningful technical responsibility while continuing to grow within the organisation.
Electrical Technician / Power Systems Technician/ Technician Benefits:
- $125,000 - $140,000 base salary
- 10% bonus opportunity

The Electrical Technician/ Power Systems Technician / Technician Role:
- Support electrical engineering activities within a large power facility
- Provide technical support for generator systems and associated electrical infrastructure
- Assist with electrical systems engineering activities across plant operations and project teams
- Collaborate with engineering, operations and project stakeholders to support reliable facility performance
- Support troubleshooting, improvements and technical activities related to power systems
- Work alongside controls and automation teams where applicable, including SCADA-related activities where experience is available
Electrical Technician / Power Systems Technician / Technician Requirements:
- Experience as an Electrical Engineer, Power Systems Engineer, Engineer or similar electrical engineering role
- Background in electrical power systems, industrial electrical systems or power environments
- Experience with generator systems or large-scale electrical infrastructure is highly advantageous
- Ability to collaborate with operations, engineering and project teams in a technical environment
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals with the ability to apply knowledge to practical plant systems
Desirable Experience:
- SCADA, controls or automation experience
- Experience within power , utilities, industrial facilities or mission-critical infrastructure environments
- Experience supporting generator systems, plant electrical systems or similar equipment
