Electrical Engineer in Merced

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, analyze, and maintain electrical transmission, distribution, and substation systems.

\n

• Manage engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and field inspections.

\n

• Perform system modeling, load flow, and short-circuit analysis.

\n

• Ensure compliance with NERC/WECC standards and applicable regulations.

\n

• Prepare technical reports, engineering studies, and project documentation.

\n

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

\n

• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience.

\n

• Valid Professional Engineer (PE) License in Electrical Engineering.

\n

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical engineering software.

\n

• Knowledge of transmission, distribution, substations, and regulatory compliance.

\n

• Valid California Driver’s License.

\n
