Electrical Engineer \n\nManchester \n\n£40,000\n\nBrief\n\nElectrical Engineer needed for a well-known Facilities Management organisation based in Manchester who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Electrical Engineer that takes pride in their work.\n\nThe successful candidates would need to have their NVQ Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installations cert as well as their 18th Edition and 2391 ticket. If you have your IPAF then that will be a bonus.\n\nBenefits\n\nSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum\n24 day's holidays\nPension Plan\nCareer Progression \n\nWhat the role entails:\n\nSome of the main duties of the Electrical Engineer will include:\n\nWe have an opportunity available for a static based Electrician. The role would involve carrying out planned maintenance activities and reactive works on site Excellent customer service skills are a must on this site.\n\nComplete all statutory and non-statutory PPM in accordance with annual PPM planners and task instruction sets and customers SLA's & RPI's.\nExperience of using CAFM systems to complete reactive and PPM tasks in line with our SLA's & KPl's.\nEnsure all site logbooks are kept up to date with the relevant information and certification.\nTo identify maintenance needs and produce technical reports on equipment.\nTo respond & repair any reactive calls raised through the dedicated Service desk and provide relevant task information to the Administration team to ensure all jobs are resolved to the satisfaction of the customer and within the Service Level Agreements (SLA)\nTo read.

understand and work to generic site PPM risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), completing any additional RAMS for any large works not covered or a point of work general risk assessments for smaller tasks.\nSupervise/escort subcontractors whilst on site ensuring they follow site security procedures, ensuring work to their RAMs and within EQLJANS safe working procedures \n\nWhat experience you need to be the successful Electrical Engineer:\n\nNVQ Levels 2 & 3 Electrical Installation.\nQualified to BS7671 18th Edition Regulations.\nCity & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Test.\nInspection and Testing of electrical equipment (PAT testing) BS2377\nAsbestos awareness (preferable but not essential).\nIPAF Powered Access Licence (preferable but not essential).\nPASMA (preferable but not essential).\nFirst aid trained (preferably but not essential).\nBe computer literate, including operation of Handheld PDA.\nMaintenance and repair of HVAC equipment.\nFault finding and diagnosis of HVAC equipment.\nOperation and interrogation of BMS\nUnderstanding of fire protection systems.\nUnderstanding of Plumbing systems.This really is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to progress their career.
