The role
Technical Partners are supporting a leading energy infrastructure organisation, powering the future of energy storage and , in the search for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team. As the Electrical Engineer you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving critical infrastructure, ensuring assets operate safely, efficiently, and reliably while contributing to long-term investment and maintenance strategies.

Salary: offering a competitive salary up to £83,000 depending on experience
Pension: Employer contribution 8-12% (dependent on employee contribution) / Employee contribution 2-6%

Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Deliver safe, high‑quality projects within scope, time, and budget.
Resource & Contractor Management: Organise resources, direct contractors, and ensure efficient delivery.
Contract Management: Prepare specifications, assess tenders, negotiate, and manage contracts.
Technical Expertise: Provide specialist advice, develop plant improvements, and support innovation.
QEH&S Compliance: Ensure all work meets statutory and internal safety/environmental standards.
Plant Area Responsibility: Manage plant integrity, risk, and performance; maintain accurate records.
Plant Performance: Diagnose issues, implement solutions, and improve reliability/cost efficiency.
Teamwork: Support team activities and contribute to a collaborative working environment.
Compliance: Ensure all statutory and procedural requirements are observed.
Strategy: Help develop and implement long‑term maintenance and asset strategies.
Budget Support: Assist in budget preparation and ensure schemes meet financial targets.
What you'll need:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
IOSH Managing Safely
Chartered status or working towards (desirable)
Background in power , utilities or heavy industrial
Proficient in electrical inspection, testing, and commissioning (FAT & SAT)
Strong knowledge of LV/MV switchgear, distribution systems, and relevant IEC standards
Experienced with LV/MV motors, controls, and starting circuits
Familiar with DC systems, electrical protection systems, and transformers
Good working knowledge of wiring regulations (BS7671)
