Job DescriptionJob Description

The Construction Electrical Engineer II will be expected to plan and execute procedures and provide technical support for construction and commissioning activities of CCGT projects and will work under the direction of the Manager to coordinate activities with Engineering, Technical Field Advisors in the field, Vendors and Contractors at site.

• This group does 10-12 projects a year
• Day to day will include gathering approved required documents and information to support successful completion of relevant construction activities.
• Creation of erection and commissioning procedures to support Gas Turbines.
• Answering emails from diff depts/meetings, etc
• Work with a team of engineers
• Need to know how to read P&ID's, read mechanical drawings, Isometrics, etc
• High level coordinator w logistics team, managers, engineers, etc
• Must have general knowledge and experience with Gas Turbines, transformers, generators. 
• Additionally, employees are required to have general knowledge of construction processes along with specific skills set with Gas Turbine field engineering execution.
• 5-10% travel
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid Passport

Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering from college or university and five (5) years' experience with Gas Turbine; or and Associate’s degree in Engineering with seven (7) years related experience with Gas Turbines.

• Familiarity with Combined Cycle Power Plant Equipment is required.
• Experience with ISO procedures and OSHA safety requirements would be an asset.
• International experience is desirable.
• Understanding of Power plant equipment such as pumps, condensers, cooling towers, rotating equipment, turbines, material handling, water treatment, valves, and heat exchangers.

Computer Skills:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Sharepoint, electronic mail etc.
