Electrical Engineer

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Salary: £46,000per annum + Generous Company Benefits

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent



We are currently partnering with a well-established, forward-thinking building services company and recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their growing team in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary organisation delivering high-quality projects across the built environment.



The Role:

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems across a variety of projects. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to the highest technical and professional standards.



Key Responsibilities:



Design and specification of electrical building services systems (LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, etc.)

Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and reports

Support project delivery from concept through to completion

Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions

Requirements:



Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (HNC)

Proven experience in a similar role within building services

Knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards

Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
