Electrical Engineer – Process Control & Industrial Systems

Full-Time | Indianapolis, IN | Travel Required

What You'll Do

• Design and develop industrial and commercial mechanical, electrical, and combustion systems
• Create detailed electrical schematics and panel drawings in compliance with industry standards
• Perform field installation, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Provide technical support across multiple product lines
• Specify and propose process instrumentation for new and retrofit projects
• Assist with technical proposals and system specifications

This role combines engineering design, technical problem-solving, and field execution—perfect for someone who enjoys both the office and the field.

What You Bring

• BS in Electrical Engineering (or related engineering field)
• Experience with CAD and PLC software
• Strong background in electrical schematics
• Troubleshooting expertise in:
• Process controls
• PLC programs & HMI applications
• Sensors, valves, motors, drives
• Electrical equipment
• Working knowledge of Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office
• Understanding of thermal, fluid flow, level, pressure, vacuum, and analytical processes (pH, ORP, conductivity, etc.)
• Strong written communication skills for proposals and specifications
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
