Electrical Engineer
The Opportunity:

At Booz Allen, you'll use your engineering skills to transform the Navy's facilities. Our team is supporting the modernization, piloting, and startup of new process facilities for chemical processes in support of energetics systems. That's why we need you, an electrical engineer, with knowledge of power, process facility design and construction, and lightning protection, grounding and bonding, to help us design and develop the Navy's premier facilities.

On our team, you'll be involved in projects from concept design through detail design, construction, and commissioning. We'll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff and facilitating teams including stakeholders from other companies. This is a chance to use your experience-based knowledge in electrical engineering and plant design and startup while broadening your skillset into facilitating cross-functional teams and performing project management and risk management.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience with electrical engineering in support of process plant design such as chemical synthesis plants, polymer environments, or manufacturing environments
  • \n

  • Knowledge of power systems, grounding and bonding, or lightning protection
  • \n

  • Ability to work on a cross functional team and in a hands-on field setting
  • \n

  • Secret clearance
  • \n

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • \n

  • Experience with energetics systems

  • Knowledge of process plants, such as chemical synthesis, polymers, or other manufacturing

  • Ability to travel in support of facilities projects

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
