Electrical Engineer (Direct Hire) —On-site | Houston, TX. 77072

Genesis Technical is seeking Sr. Electrical Engineer(s) for on-site, direct hire openings within an established, international EPC firm in Houston, TX .

What you’ll do:

• Lead electrical engineering design and project execution on industrial projects
• Develop/review key deliverables (one-lines, load lists, MCCs, cable schedules, grounding, lighting, hazardous area layouts)
• Support procurement, vendor document reviews, and construction/commissioning
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies between client standards and requirements. 
• Provide technical input and support during procurement, construction, and commissioning, including:
  o    Preparation and review of electrical equipment and materials requisitions.
  o    Technical bid evaluations.
  o    Review of vendor documentation and purchase orders. 

What we’re looking for:

• BS in Electrical Engineering (accredited)
• Experience in industrial electrical engineering
• Experience with LV/MV distribution, motor control/protection, VFDs, and applicable codes/standards
• PE license or ability to obtain is a plus
