• Motor protection relay upgrades for many 480v and 5kv motor controls
• Breaker protection relay upgrades for many 480v and 5kv power distribution systems
• At least one 5kv transformer upgrade/replacement project including a tiebreaker improvement need
• Power factor correction capacitor bank upgrade
• Plant grounding and bonding testing program system improvements
• CEMS upgrade project
• Electric heat tracing system upgrades by area
• Many various field instrumentation improvements
• Some reliability focused efforts for specified field instruments

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• BS Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
• Experience with electrical power distribution and motor controls/relays and breaker controls/protection relays up to 5kv
• Powered field equipment, electric motors for pumps, blowers, heaters.
• Electric heat tracing
• A basic knowledge of field instrumentation is a must, anything above basics is a plus, analyzer systems (CEMS, O2, ammonia, TDL technology) knowledge is a plus
• The candidate should be able to provide examples of key projects/efforts they have performed and/or managed/overseen the execution of:
• Breaker testing PM for 480v and 5kv breakers, mains
• Electrical power distribution PM efforts – testing of cables and busses and coordination of the efforts – whether performed by a contractor or company personnel
• Need to be able to describe how they perform troubleshooting efforts for electrical systems and/or field instrument issues.
• Need to describe their interactions with the maintenance team and operations on a day-to-day basis.
