Job Summary
Advanced Navigation and Positioning Corporation (ANPC) is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering (EE) to join our team for Summer 2026. This role offers hands-on experience in printed circuit board (PCB) design, parts library management, product testing, and test procedure development. Youll work directly with our engineering team on projects that support our aircraft guidance and landing systems, gaining exposure to real-world avionics hardware development. Youll gain experience with industry-standard tools and practices while working on meaningful projects that directly support our engineering efforts.
This is an on-site position in Hood River, OR. This position is not remote eligible.
Essential Job Functions
\tBuild and maintain our PCB parts library
\tExecute test procedures used to verify product requirements
\tParticipate in the design and manufacturing of custom test fixtures and simple PCBs
Education and Work Experience Requirements
\tJunior, senior, or Masters/PhD-level college student studying Electrical Engineering or a related field
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
\tStrong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
\tGood technical writing skills for documenting test procedure results
\tEffective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
\tAbility to take initiative, solve problems, and make progress without constant supervision
Nice to Have
\tExperience with Altium Designer or other PCB design tools
\tFamiliarity with Python programming
\tExperience with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB
\tFamiliarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, pulse generators, and spectrum analyzers
\tCoursework in PCB design, circuit design, or similar EE topics
