Electrical Engineer – Building Services (Outside IR35)\n\nLocation: site based\nRate: £440 per day (8 hours) – All Inclusive\nContract Type: Limited Company (Outside IR35)\nDuration: Minimum 3 Months (Immediate Start Available)\n\nWe are currently seeking two experienced Electrical Engineers to join our team on an immediate-start contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of building services projects, supporting electrical design and coordination activities within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Carrying out Amtech cable calculations.\n\n * Completing containment fill calculations.\n\n * Updating and maintaining distribution board (DB) schedules.\n\n * Producing and reviewing lighting calculations using Dialux Evo.\n\n * Coordinating with the CAD/BIM team to accurately position luminaires within the 3D model.\n\n * Assisting in the development and coordination of:\n\n * Lighting layouts\n\n * Lighting control layouts\n\n * Ensuring designs comply with relevant industry standards and project requirements.\n\n * Working collaboratively with project teams to deliver high-quality design outputs within programme deadlines.\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within the building services sector.\n\n * Strong working knowledge of Amtech (Trimble ProDesign) for cable calculations and electrical design.\n\n * Experience using Dialux Evo for lighting design and calculations.\n\n * Ability to interpret and coordinate with CAD/BIM models.\n\n * Experience updating DB schedules and containment calculations.\n\n * Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.\n\n * Immediate availability or short notice .\n\nContract Details\n\n * Rate: £440 per day (8-hour day) – all-inclusive.\n\n * Engagement: Limited Company contract.\n\n * Status: Outside IR35.\n\n * Duration: Minimum 3 months, with potential for extension.\n\n * Start Date: Immediate
