Job Description

Electrical Engineer\n\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and qualified L3 Electrical Engineer for a 3-month temporary contract based within a fast-paced warehouse environment in Kegworth, Derby. This role is critical for ensuring the operational uptime and safety of large-scale automated systems and electrical infrastructure.\n\nRole Overview\n\nPay Rate: £25.00 per hour.\n\nHours: 40 hours per week.\n\nContract Type: Temporary (3-month duration).\n\nLocation: Kegworth, Derby.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nMaintenance & Repair: Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to all electrical systems to meet agreed service levels.\n\nFault Finding: Utilize technical expertise to identify and resolve electrical faults in high-pressure warehouse environments.\n\nSystems Management: Maintain and understand site plant and systems, ensuring all electrical issues are attended to and resolved within SLA agreements.\n\nCompliance: Sign off completed PPM and reactive tasks in a timely manner, ensuring that comprehensive maintenance records are kept up to date and compliant.\n\nHealth & Safety: Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to all company and site-specific safety policies.\n\nRequirements\n\nTechnical Qualification: Must hold a recognized Level 3 Electrical Qualification (C&G 2360 or equivalent).\n\nRegulations: Current C&G 18th Edition in Electrical Installations is essential.\n\nTesting & Inspection: C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Test and Inspection certificate.\n\nExperience: Proven experience working with structured PPM delivery within commercial or industrial settings.\n\nSoft Skills: A calm manner with the ability to work well under pressure and communicate effectively with team members.\n\nRandstad CPE values and promotes equality.
