Job Description
Electrical Engineer – £50,000 to £55,000 per annum (London)\n\nWe are an established and growing facilities and maintenance company, delivering high-quality services across commercial and private sectors in London and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth and an expanding client base, we are looking to recruit an experienced\n \n Electrical Engineer\n \n to join our maintenance team on a full-time, permanent basis.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled engineer who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will be confident, proactive, and committed to delivering a first-class service to clients while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.\n\nYou will be responsible for attending commercial sites to carry out reactive electrical maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and minor installations.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nReactive repairs to lighting systems, sockets, fuse boards, and general electrical systems\n\nFault finding and replacement of electrical components such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers\n\nEnsuring all work is completed safely and in line with regulations and company procedures\n\nMaintaining strong communication with clients and internal teams\n\nDelivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service on site\n\nEnsuring compliance with all relevant health and safety standards\n\nSkills & Experience Required:\n\nFull UK driving licence (essential)\n\nNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (essential)\n\n18th Edition BS7671 qualification\n\nMinimum 8 years’ experience in electrical maintenance or a similar role\n\nStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills\n\nProfessional, self-motivated, and client-focused attitude\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nSalary £50,000 – £55,000 per annum\n\nCareer development and structured training plan\n\nAccess to industry-accredited training courses\n\nCompany tools and equipment provided\n\nCompany electric vehicle\n\n28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)\n\nMonday to Friday schedule (8am–5pm) with occasional weekend availability\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company where you can develop your skills and build a long-term career
