Job Description

Commercial & Residential Electrician\n\nLocation: London (Multiple Sites)\nSalary: Up to £45,000 per annum\nHours: Monday – Friday (Full-Time)\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are looking for a skilled and professional Electrician to join our growing team, delivering high-quality electrical services across a variety of commercial and residential projects throughout London.\n\nThe successful candidate will work within high-profile, occupied buildings where professionalism, technical expertise, and strong communication skills are essential. This role is ideal for a client-facing electrician who takes pride in delivering safe, compliant, and high-standard installations.\n\nKey Responsibilities & Duties\n\n * \n\n Carry out high-quality electrical installations across commercial and residential properties\n\n * \n\n Install, test, inspect, and commission new electrical systems, including lighting and small power, in line with client specifications\n\n * \n\n Complete first and second fix installations, including wiring and containment systems (tray, basket, trunking, conduit)\n\n * \n\n Diagnose and rectify faults on existing electrical systems efficiently, minimising disruption within occupied environments\n\n * \n\n Undertake inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations\n\n * \n\n Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works\n\n * \n\n Ensure all work is completed in full compliance with current IET Wiring Regulations, health & safety legislation, and company procedures\n\n * \n\n Accurately complete certification and job documentation\n\n * \n\n Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times\n\n * \n\n Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and colleagues to maintain strong working relationships\n\n * \n\n Work flexibly across multiple sites throughout London\n\nEssential Qualifications & Certifications\n\n * \n\n BS7671 – 18th Edition (City & Guilds)\n\n * \n\n City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection & Testing\n\n * \n\n Valid CSCS Card\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\n * \n\n Proven experience in both commercial and residential electrical installations\n\n * \n\n Strong working knowledge of electrical systems including wiring, containment, and fault-finding\n\n * \n\n Experience working in occupied and high-profile buildings\n\n * \n\n Excellent verbal and written communication skills\n\n * \n\n Professional and confident client-facing manner\n\n * \n\n Reliable, flexible, and able to demonstrate initiative\n\n * \n\n Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of workmanship\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary up to £45,000\n\n * \n\n Monday to Friday working pattern\n\n * \n\n Varied and interesting projects across London\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to work in prestigious, high-profile environments\n\n * \n\n Supportive and professional team environment\n\nIf you are a motivated, technically skilled electrician looking to join a professional and growing organisation, we would love to hear from you.\n\nApply now to take the next step in your career
