This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and motivated engineer looking to contribute to a high-performing facilities team while progressing their career.\n\nRole Overview\n\nAs a key member of the on-site engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimising electrical systems to ensure safety, reliability, and operational efficiency across the site.\n\nThis role combines hands-on technical delivery with the opportunity to demonstrate leadership capability, supporting the wider team while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, safety, and service delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nElectrical Maintenance & Compliance\n\nDeliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities to maximise system reliability and asset performance.\n\nCarry out fault finding, testing, and repairs across electrical distribution systems and associated plant.\n\nConduct emergency lighting inspections and fire alarm testing in line with statutory compliance requirements.\n\nEnsure all works are completed in accordance with current regulations and site procedures.\n\nHVAC & Building Services Support\n\nMaintain and support FCUs, AHUs, and associated HVAC systems.\n\nAssist with general building services maintenance to ensure smooth day-to-day site operations.\n\nRespond promptly and effectively to reactive maintenance tasks, minimising disruption to site activities.\n\nTeamwork & Site Standards\n\nSupervise and support a small team where required, demonstrating leadership and accountability.\n\nMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.\n\nPromote a strong health & safety culture, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and professionally.\n\nEngage confidently with clients and stakeholders, delivering high standards of customer service.\n\nCandidate Requirements\nQualifications\n\nFully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3).\n\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.\n\nExperience & Skills\n\nProven experience in electrical engineering within the Facilities Management sector.\n\nStrong technical knowledge of building services and electrical systems.\n\nAbility to supervise and guide a small team.\n\nConfident communicator with strong client-facing skills.\n\nProactive, reliable, and committed to delivering consistently high standards.\n\nWhy Join Us?\n\nCompetitive salary package.\n\nClear career progression opportunities, including potential advancement into a Supervisor role.\n\nOpportunity to work within a prestigious, high-performing team.\n\nOngoing professional development and training.\n\nA role offering technical challenge, leadership opportunity, and long-term career growth
