Job Description
Location: Central London (Foot Mobile Role)\n\nSalary: £45,000\n\nContract Type: Full-time\n\nStart Date: Immediate\n\nWe are working with a leading service provider who is seeking a dependable and experienced Foot Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team, delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across a portfolio of commercial buildings in Central London. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys variety, independence, and working in a fast-paced city environment—without the need to drive.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nConduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across multiple commercial sites, travelling on foot or via public transport\n\t\nDiagnose electrical faults and carry out safe, effective repairs\n\t\nComplete minor installations, upgrades, and remedial works\n\t\nEnsure compliance with statutory requirements and company standards\n\t\nMaintain accurate job records, reports, and compliance documentation\n\t\nProvide excellent customer service while representing the company across high-profile London sites\n\nRequirements:\n\nNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering\n\t\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations\n\t\nExperience in commercial building maintenance (FM background )\n\t\nStrong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently\n\t\nProfessional communication and customer-facing skills\n\t\nComfortable navigating Central London without the use of a van\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary + overtime + call-out allowance\n\t\nTravel expenses covered (Oyster or travel card provided)\n\t\nUniform, tools, and PPE\n\t\nOngoing training and development\n\t\nOpportunity to work across premium London buildings with a supportive team\n\nIf you’re an organised, customer-focused engineer who thrives in a city-based role, I would be keen to discuss further.
