Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with MEP consulting experience to join our growing team. This role offers hands-on involvement in the full project lifecycle, working closely with senior engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary design teams on a variety of commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for MEP projects, including:
• • Power distribution systems
  • Lighting systems and controls
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Grounding and bonding
• Prepare construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
• Perform electrical calculations including:
• • Load calculations
  • Short circuit analysis
  • Voltage drop calculations
• Coordinate designs with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams
• Assist with field observations, site visits, and construction administration
• Review contractor submittals and respond to RFIs
• Support senior engineers and project managers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• EIT certification preferred
• 3+ years of electrical MEP consulting experience
• Proficiency in Revit; AutoCAD experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of NEC, local codes, and industry standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
