Electrical Engineer - Building Services Consultancy (Bromley)\n\nI'm working with a long-established and independent building services consultancy based in Bromley. They specialise in the full design and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and public-health systems across a broad and varied project portfolio. Their work spans commercial offices, residential developments, education, healthcare, laboratories, hospitality, industrial facilities and more - covering both new-build and refurbishment schemes.\n\nThey're known for delivering high-quality, energy-efficient building services design, with a strong focus on low-carbon and sustainable engineering solutions.
Due to steady project growth, they are now looking to appoint an Electrical Engineer to join their team.\n\nThe Role\n As an Electrical Engineer, you will:\n\nDesign and develop electrical building services systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, data/communication systems, standby /UPS and associated controls.\nWork closely with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to produce coordinated, well-integrated designs.\nPrepare drawings, calculations, reports and specifications using industry-standard design and BIM/CAD tools.\nSupport sustainable and low-carbon design strategies across all projects.\nAttend project meetings and, where required, carry out site visits and inspections.\nContribute to a collaborative team environment within a consultancy known for quality and technical excellence.About the company\n\nIndependent building services design consultancy with decades of experience.\nMulti-disciplinary MEP expertise with projects throughout London, the South East, and nationally.\nWork delivered across sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, leisure, industrial, heritage and specialist facilities.\nA technically strong team with a supportive culture focused on development, professional growth and chartership.\nModern approach using BIM, Revit, AutoCAD and a range of building-services design tools.\n What They're Looking For\n\nAn Electrical Engineer or Building Services Engineer with consultancy or design-focused experience.\nStrong technical understanding of electrical building services systems.\nExperience across multiple building types is beneficial, but not essential.\nGood communication skills, both written and verbal.\nSomeone proactive, detail-driven and keen to progress within a supportive environment.\n What's on Offer\n\nExposure to diverse, high-quality projects.\nGenuine career progression, with support toward chartership if desired.\nA friendly and collaborative consultancy environment.\nBromley-based office with strong connections into London.Apply now or get in touch with Roberto Sartori on (phone number removed) for a chat.\n\nAldwych Consulting values and promotes equality.
