Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location-Type: Onsite in Bethlehem, PA (5 days/week onsite)
Start Date Is: ASAP
Duration: Permanent
Compensation Range: $140-180K per year

Job Description:
Design and validate real-world hardware systems using next-gen MOSFET devices in a hands-on engineering environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Design and test reference designs (buck, boost, LLC, half-bridge, motor drive, etc.)

  • Create schematics, PCB layouts, and application notes

  • Analyze system-level trade-offs for efficiency, thermal, and reliability

  • Collaborate with device engineers and customers on performance validation

  • Support marketing and customer teams with technical insights

  • Present and demonstrate designs internally and externally

Requirements:

  • Must-Haves:

    • BSEE (MSEE/PhD or equivalent experience)

    • Hands-on experience in SMPS or motor drive design

    • Proficiency in common topologies (buck, boost, LLC, bridge variants)

    • Ability to select and design power-stage components

    • Familiarity with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD)

    • Strong lab testing and problem-solving skills

  • Nice-to-Haves:

    • Magnetics design experience

    • Experience with digital control or embedded firmware for power supplies
