Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a motivated individual with a background in electrical drafting who’s ready to grow into an engineering support role within an electrical contracting environment. This position is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience who wants to apply technical knowledge to real-world construction projects while learning the practical side of electrical systems for multifamily buildings.
You’ll work closely with our project managers, estimators, and field teams—assisting with technical coordination, plan reviews, and project documentation from the engineering point of view. We provide hands-on exposure to BIM, estimating, and project management processes, along with clear paths for career advancement.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Support the estimating and project management teams in preparing and reviewing project documentation.
• Assist with load summaries, layout coordination, and verification of design intent for electrical installations.
• Participate in estimating, quantity takeoffs, and material tracking.
• Help review drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with codes and project requirements.
• Coordinate with field personnel and other disciplines to resolve technical questions.
• Contribute to team meetings and provide technical input as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with electrical drafting, documentation, or similar technical role (AutoCAD or related software).
• Familiarity or interest in electrical systems for multifamily projects.
• Understanding of construction drawings and electrical layouts.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Sandy Springs, GA (Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM).
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required.
