Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to join a growing technical team in Ayr. This is an exciting opportunity to work with market-leading equipment both on-site and in a dedicated workshop environment. The role involves a variety of tasks, from installing and servicing brine saturator plants to maintaining salt spreaders and snow ploughs.



This is a day shift role working Monday - Friday.



Key Responsibilities:



Perform scheduled maintenance and respond to breakdowns

Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Log all activities and maintain accurate records

Manage stock levels of parts and supplies

Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical systems

Interpret wiring diagrams and manufacturer manuals

Complete work orders and document materials usedRequired Skills and Qualifications:



Technical qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering (or equivalent experience)

Strong practical and hands-on problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure

Good verbal and written communication skills

Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems

Willingness to travel at short notice across the UK

Full UK driving licence

IPAF certification (desirable but not essential)
