Introduction

A respected multi-disciplinary building services design consultancy is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its Manchester office. The company has an excellent reputation for delivering sustainable, innovative, and technically robust projects across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, and healthcare.

This opportunity would suit an Electrical Design Engineer with a background in building services and strong experience using Revit, AutoCAD, and Amtech.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible working available

 

Duties

    \n
  • Producing detailed electrical building services designs and specifications

    \n
  • \n

  • Carrying out calculations using Amtech and Revit models

    \n
  • \n

  • Attending meetings and developing strong client networks to support business development

    \n
  • \n

  • Coordinating with mechanical and structural teams to deliver integrated solutions

    \n
  • \n

  • Conducting site visits, surveys, and technical inspections

    \n
  • \n

  • Supporting the development of junior engineers

    \n
  • \n

Requirements

    \n
  • Background in electrical building services design

    \n
  • \n

  • Strong experience using Revit, AutoCAD, and Amtech

    \n
  • \n

  • Excellent communication skills with confidence in meetings and presentations

    \n
  • \n

  • Ability to support business development through building a strong client network

    \n
  • \n

  • Awareness of sustainable design, low-carbon systems, and building regulations

    \n
  • \n

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
