Seeking an Electrical Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity in Golden Valley, MN. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of innovative products for our client, a leading global provider of intuitive, connected home solutions

Responsibilities

• Creation of circuit schematics for new designs, modifying existing schematics, and conducting tolerance analysis to ensure proper operation
• Lead product qualification efforts, including writing test plans, supervising test activities, troubleshooting failures, reviewing/writing reports
• Develop and perform tests to detect design issues and verify design robustness
• Analyze failed product and determine root cause
• Work in cross-functional, international development teams

Other Details

• Schedule: Hybrid schedule, Monday and Friday work remote, Tuesday-Thursday work onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, typical hours/flexible start times between 7–9 am
• Location: Golden Valley, MN
• Duration: Long Term-1 Year+
• No Corp to Corp

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering
• Experience with analog circuit design, such as inverting, non-inverting, and transconductance amplifier configurations
• Familiarity with standard topologies of switching power supplies
• Understanding requirements for embedded circuit design; signal conditioning, noise mitigations, transient protection, etc
• Ability to lay out multilayer PCBs to mitigate problems such as part interferences, high voltage spacing violations, and electrical noise susceptibility
• Proficiency using MS Office applications: Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word
