Must have a minimum of three (3) years of design experience in the consulting engineering industry. Candidate will be responsible for technical performance as well as knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Must have the ability to apply techniques, modifications and theories and have the ability to make decisions independently while still utilizing guidance from other engineers and project managers. Essential Job Responsibilities

Responsible for working on technical production for projects

Takes ownership of production/design on portions of systems

Performs load calculations & code research

Coordinates with internal team members and external clients

Coordinates with external team members such as owners, architects, sub consultants

Participates in meetings with clients/owners

Conducts periodic job site observations


Skills

Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD, BlueBeam and REVIT software

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to work collaboratively with others



Requirements:

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university

Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the MEP industry with experience working on technical design

Registration as an EIT (or goal to obtain within the first year of employment)

Must be authorized to work in the United States

The pay range for this position is expected to be within a range of $75,000 - $90,000 and is based upon multiple factors including level of experience, years of experience, professional registrations and applicant knowledge, skills, and abilities. Benefits include insurance benefits, paid holidays and paid time off as well as a company sponsored 401k plan.
