Electrical Engineer

In this position, you will develop and implement control system architecture for food & beverage processing equipment. You will develop automation systems including hardware and software for processing systems.

Electrical Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop automation systems including hardware and software for processing systems
• design, implement, and support PLC and operator interface systems
• perform modification to existing equipment to meet customer needs
• Creation of electrical schematics, panel layouts, and supporting documentation

Daily Responsibilities

• Develop systems that incorporate PLC control systems, temperature control, flow control, process instrumentation and CIP control technology.
• Work well with fellow engineering and assembly personnel.
• Perform in house machine testing
• Perform revisions to electrical schematics, panel layouts and supporting documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills

• Ability to manage projects - coordinate with various departments within the company and customers
• Effective communication skills
• Attention to detail is a must
• well-developed skills in problem solving and troubleshooting

Additional Skills

• Processing equipment experience is a plus
• Ambitious, fun & flexible
• Technical curiosity is critical
