Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman to join our team in Cincinnati. This role will focus on producing accurate electrical drawings, coordinating with project teams, and supporting design development. You will play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare Detailed Drawings – Create accurate electrical drawings based on design inputs.

Update Drawings for Revisions – Incorporate design changes, redlines, and field modifications.

BIM / Revit Coordination – Follow company standards for consistency and compliance in BIM/Revit modeling.

Coordinate with Designers & Engineers – Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure drawings reflect accurate technical information.

Prepare As-Built Drawings – Update plans after construction to reflect actual field installations.

Minor Residential Design – Develop apartment unit layouts for common electrical systems.

Manage Drawing Files – Organize, archive, and control access to current drawing sets.

Assist in Material Takeoffs – Support procurement and estimating teams by generating quantities from drawings.

Professional Development – Work toward elevating skills to become an electrical designer.
Qualifications
Qualifications

Associate’s degree or certification in Drafting, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with BIM coordination .

Understanding of electrical systems, building codes, and drafting standards.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work from design specifications and field data.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
