Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman to join our team in Cincinnati. This role will focus on producing accurate electrical drawings, coordinating with project teams, and supporting design development. You will play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Detailed Drawings – Create accurate electrical drawings based on design inputs.

• Update Drawings for Revisions – Incorporate design changes, redlines, and field modifications.

• BIM / Revit Coordination – Follow company standards for consistency and compliance in BIM/Revit modeling.

• Coordinate with Designers & Engineers – Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure drawings reflect accurate technical information.

• Prepare As-Built Drawings – Update plans after construction to reflect actual field installations.

• Minor Residential Design – Develop apartment unit layouts for common electrical systems.

• Manage Drawing Files – Organize, archive, and control access to current drawing sets.

• Assist in Material Takeoffs – Support procurement and estimating teams by generating quantities from drawings.

• Professional Development – Work toward elevating skills to become an electrical designer.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certification in Drafting, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with BIM coordination .

• Understanding of electrical systems, building codes, and drafting standards.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work from design specifications and field data.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
