Electrical Designer / Mid-Level Electrical Engineer
Tewksbury, MA
Salary: $80,000 – $120,000+ (DOE)

A facility and process engineering group is seeking an Electrical Designer / Mid-Level Electrical Engineer with 0 to 10 years of experience. This role supports engineering and construction of complex industrial facilities including manufacturing plants, labs, and specialty or high-hazard environments. You will work with a small electrical department and coordinate daily with senior engineers, project managers, contractors, and clients. The position requires strong organization, hands-on ability, and comfort managing multiple tasks independently.

Industries include:

·         Pharmaceutical

·         Chemical manufacturing

·         Food processing

·         Offices and labs

·         General manufacturing and warehousing

Key responsibilities:

·         Write and tailor electrical specifications

·         Perform load calculations and lighting calculations

·         Create electrical drawings for power, lighting, telecom/data, and security

·         Maintain panel schedules and circuit documentation

·         Lay out electrical devices from architectural backgrounds

·         Select components and equipment (research, model selection, documentation)

·         Visit job sites to verify field conditions

·         Coordinate with engineers, clients, contractors, and construction staff

Desired skills and experience:

·         2–10 years in electrical design or facility engineering

·         Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit

·         Ability to handle shifting priorities and multiple active projects

·         Strong communication and organization skills

·         Willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment

Additional information:

·         Full-time, onsite role in Tewksbury, MA

·         Travel to job sites as needed

·         Salary commensurate with experience (80k–120k+)
