You will collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, and installation teams, playing a central role in delivering high-quality electrical solutions across a range of commercial and industrial schemes.

No two projects are the same, and you will have the chance to make a real impact on every one of them. Salary is dependant upon experience and qualifications.\n\nWhat You Will Be Doing\n\nProducing electrical designs, schematics, and detailed layout drawings for commercial and industrial projects\nUndertaking lighting and small power designs in line with current regulations and client specifications\nCompleting cable calculations, load assessments, and circuit schedules\nEnsuring all designs comply with IET Wiring Regulations and all other relevant standards\nCollaborating with clients, consultants, and other disciplines to deliver fully coordinated design solutions\nCompiling technical submissions, design specifications, and supporting documentation\nProviding technical guidance and support to installation and commissioning teams on site\nRepresenting the business at design coordination meetings and client-facing discussions\nWhat We Are Looking For\n\nA proven track record as an Electrical Designer or Design Engineer within commercial building services\nStrong knowledge of electrical design standards and building services systems\nConfident use of AutoCAD and electrical design software including Amtech and Relux/Dialux\nA solid understanding of lighting design principles and energy efficiency standards\nThe ability to read and interpret architectural and mechanical drawings\nA natural communicator who works well with others and can juggle multiple projects simultaneously\nQualifications\n\nHNC/HND or Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)\nCity & Guilds 18th Edition (BS 7671) – desirable\nAdditional design or CAD qualifications would be advantageous\nWhy Apply?\n\nA permanent opportunity with a established contractor\nEnd-to-end project involvement from initial concept through to completion\nA varied portfolio spanning commercial and industrial schemes- no two projects the same\nConveniently located London office near Liverpool Street\nIf you are ready to take on a rewarding new challenge with a contractor who will appreciate everything you bring to the table, we would love to hear from you.
