Electrical Design Engineer in YO1

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with experience in the design of LV or HV / 11kV infrastructure to work on projects for an organisation that distributes, delivers and maintains electricity supplies across the North East, Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.\n\nThe Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design of new connections and network improvements on both low voltage and high voltage systems, covering:\n\n * Studies and analysis of LV networks, including fault levels, voltage drop and network loading\n\n * LV and HV cable and overhead line (OHL) design for reinforcements, replacements, connections and diversions on the underground and overhead networks\n\n * Liaison with external customers / stakeholders\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Previous experience as an Electrical Design Engineer for LV or HV schemes\n\n * Qualification in Electrical Engineering (or related subject)\n\n * Understanding of DNO, NERS and ERA requirements (beneficial)\n\n * Driving licence (essential)\n\nGreat opportunity for long-term employment and career development.
