The team specialises in high-quality engineering documentation, from SLDs and instrumentation drawings through to full BIM-coordinated models. They work on projects that require genuine technical depth, and the people here know their trade.\n\nThe role\n\nAs Electrical Design Engineer, you'll produce a broad range of electrical design deliverables, from detailed CAD drawings and schematics through to 3D BIM models.

You'll work across multiple disciplines, collaborating with mechanical and process teams and contributing to federated model development. The role sits at the centre of live project delivery.\n\nYou'll:\n\nProduce electrical CAD drawings including SLDs, schematics, cable and load schedules, and termination drawings\n\nDesign earthing and bonding layouts, MCC interfaces, and power distribution systems\n\nDevelop 3D electrical models covering cable routes, containment, MCC layouts, and instrument locations\n\nMaintain drawing registers and manage revision control throughout the project lifecycle\n\nEnsure all outputs comply with client standards, IEC/BS standards, and IEIS internal drafting standards\n\nParticipate in clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination meetings\n\nSupport federated BIM model development alongside mechanical and process disciplines\n\nWhat you'll bring\n\nEssential:\n\nProven experience producing electrical design drawings in a similar engineering environment\n\nProficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical\n\nSolid understanding of IEC/BS electrical standards\n\nExperience with BIM and 3D modelling (Revit, Plant3D, or equivalent)\n\nUseful, not essential:\n\nExperience with EPLAN\n\nPrevious work on industrial or infrastructure projects\n\nBenefits\n\nFinancial: Salary up to £50,000, commensurate with experience.\n\nWork: Technically varied project work in a close-knit specialist team.\n\nLocation: Based in Stone, Staffordshire, in an established office environment.\n\nWorking arrangements\n\nLocation: Stone, Staffordshire\n\nWorking pattern: 4–5 days per week on-site\n\nContract: Permanent | Full-time\n\nInterested?\n\nIf this sounds like the kind of role you've been looking for, apply now with your up-to-date CV.
