Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

About the Role:
We're supporting a major player in the renewable energy sector to deliver complex power system studies across a portfolio of offshore wind projects. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the UK's energy transition by joining a dedicated engineering team driving innovation in offshore wind.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of power system modelling and analysis, focusing on both static and dynamic studies. You'll be working closely with an experienced and collaborative project team, applying your technical know-how to solve real-world challenges in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver static and dynamic power system studies using PowerFactory

• Model and analyse systems using dynamic vendor models (e.g., for wind turbines, STATCOMs, SynCons)

• Define task scopes clearly and align with QA personnel before execution

• Follow structured processes and ensure full compliance with internal methodologies and quality standards

• Engage proactively with the wider engineering team via online collaboration tools

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong hands-on experience using PowerFactory for electrical studies

• Knowledge of dynamic vendor models, particularly for wind turbines and related technologies

• Confidence to work independently and deliver work to a high standard

• Comfortable working 100% remotely (no travel required)

• UK work authorisation (we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role)
