Jobs may include taking the project lead or working as part of a larger design team.\n\nThey are proud to offer a good work life balance with a 37 hour working week and are highly supportive of professional development.\n\nElectrical Design Engineer Responsibilities\n\n * The preparation of outline design schemes\n\n * Visiting site during the construction phase to monitor progress.\n\n * Detailed calculations\n\n * Promote the use of renewable technologies.\n\n * Using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) and BIM (Revit) software and other resources to design the systems required for each project.\n\n * Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams\n\nQualifications/Attributes\n\n * MEng / BEng / HND /HNC in Electrical Engineering or Building Services\n\n * A minimum of 3 years electrical design experience in building services.\n\n * Experience of Revit would be advantageous but not essential.\n\n * High quality oral and written communications (reports, instructions etc)\n\n * Driving licence and car
