Location: Leicestershire, UK Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum Visa Sponsorship: Not available for this positionThe roleWe're looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a fast-paced product development environment, supporting the design and delivery of wiring harnesses and related electrical work packages. You'll work in a multidisciplinary setting, collaborating with engineering teams to take concepts through development and into robust, production-ready solutions.Using SolidWorks Electrical , you'll produce high-quality schematics and manufacturing documentation for wiring harnesses and system test rigs , ensuring designs can scale from prototype through to full production and align with relevant certification requirements.What you'll be doingDesigning and releasing wiring harnesses and associated electrical work packagesProducing schematics and manufacturing documentation in SolidWorks Electrical (or similar)Supporting electrical design for system test rigs and development buildsEnsuring designs meet applicable certification / safety standards and are suitable for scale-upWorking closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve quality and deliveryApplying awareness of EMC/EMI considerations in design decisionsUsing / interacting with ERP systems (experience with IFS is a plus)What we're looking forDegree (BEng/BSc or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or equivalent industry experienceProven experience in electrical wiring harness design (industrial or stationary power products ideal)Strong schematic capture + harness design knowledge to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standardsCAD experience (SolidWorks Electrical )Confident communicator, detail-focused, and collaborativeTPBN1_UKTJ
