Are you a suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in a rapidly growing, world-leading company that puts employees first?
YT Technologies are proud to announce it is working is a leading provider of high-quality educational equipment for engineering disciplines, with products used in over 1500 establishments in more than 100 countries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a highly motivated individual to join their multi-disciplinary Engineering team.
What You'll Be Doing
The work is varied, interesting, and demanding, requiring high standards for quality and performance. You will design and support the development of lab equipment for academia. Main responsibilities include:

Designing products and providing production information (like wiring diagrams and assembly drawings) to support manufacturing and servicing throughout the product life cycle.

Creating detailed drawings, BOMs, test specifications, and content for technical manuals.
*
Ensuring equipment meets all statutory requirements, such as CE/UKCA marking.
What You Need
*
Minimum 5 years experience.
*
A relevant electrical engineering qualification
*
Good fundamental electrical engineering knowledge and knowledge of design best practice.
*
Experience with VFD, control panels and instrumentation
*
Experience using CAD packages to create schematics and drawings.
*
Knowledge of control systems, sensors, instrumentation, and UK, EC & US electrical safety regulations.
Key Details & Benefits

Contract Type: Permanent, full time.
*
Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Fri 8:00 am to 1:00 pm).
*
