Electrical Design Engineer in Leatherhead, Surrey

We are looking to recruit a Principal/Lead Electrical Engineer to support various Energy Transition and Security projects for our client, a leading oil & gas design and engineering contractor based at their offices in Surrey.



The Role:



As Principal/Lead Electrical Engineer you will develop the electrical power system designs required to support the process design.



Requirements:



Experience of experience of designing large industrial power systems, including;



* H2/NH3/LNG/Refining projects



* sizing and selection of high voltage equipment



* Large Frequency converters



* AC/DC UPS systems



Development of philosophies and specifications



Input to estimating.



Ability to complete power system studies /calculations using ETAP / review of studies by others



Job Details:



Contract role - duration c. 12+ months



Rate: £62 p/h (Ltd co), role expected to be Outside of IR35



Working hours: 40 hrs per week



Location: Surrey - hybrid working for up to 1 day may be possible



Start date: ASAP
