Electrical Design Engineer\n\n Kingston upon Thames, London\n Competitive Salary (Dependent on Experience)\n Hybrid Working Available Following Probation\n\nAn established international engineering consultancy with over 100 years of experience delivering major infrastructure projects worldwide is expanding its electrical engineering team and is seeking both a Mid-Level Electrical Design Engineer.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected consultancy working on complex infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally, particularly within the ports, harbours, container terminals, industrial, and heavy infrastructure sectors.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWorking as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be involved in the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.\n\nYou will play a key role in providing practical and technically robust engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of large-scale infrastructure developments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Electrical infrastructure design across the full project lifecycle\n\n * Feasibility studies, detailed design, calculations, and technical reporting\n\n * Design of LV and HV power systems and utility distribution networks\n\n * Preparation of engineering specifications and technical documentation\n\n * Technical support during construction, commissioning, and site activities\n\n * Design reviews, design assurance, and quality control\n\n * Coordination with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams\n\n * Contribution to the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects\n\nRequirements\n\nMid-Level Engineer\n\n * Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline\n\n * Experience delivering electrical design projects within infrastructure, industrial, utilities, energy, or similar sectors\n\n * Knowledge of LV/HV power distribution systems\n\n * Strong technical design and reporting skills\n\n * Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\n * Opportunity to work on high-profile UK and international infrastructure projects\n\n * Long-term career development within a growing engineering team\n\n * Exposure to ports, harbours, container terminals, industrial facilities, cold storage developments, and heavy infrastructure projects\n\n * Hybrid working arrangement following probation\n\n * Supportive and collaborative engineering environment\n\n * Competitive salary and benefits package\n\nWorking Arrangements\n\n * Office-based during probation period\n\n * Hybrid working thereafter (minimum 3 days in the office, 2 days remote)\n\n * Kingston upon Thames, London\n\nCandidates must have the legal right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available for these positions\n\nAPPLY NOW
