Job Description

My client, a market leading Electrical and Mechanical Design Consultancy based in Central London is searching for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. \n\nThis is an office-based role, offering varied residential and commercial projects. Hybrid working is available for experienced candidates.  \n\nAs an Electrical Design Engineer you will join a bespoke team based in Central London.

 You will be supported by an experienced team and have the chance to work on major commercial schemes including residential schemes, commercial developments and high-rise office blocks across the UK.  \n\nAs an Electrical Design Engineer you will be expected to complete detailed electrical designs using AutoCAD, Dialux and Amtech.   \n\nYou will also be supported to complete; \n\n-Design calculations for commercial projects. \n\n-Detailed designs of electrical systems and cabling for buildings (commercial and industrial).

 \n\n-Survey, tests and reports on existing installations.\n\n-Attend technical meetings with professionals and contractors.  \n\n-Engineering calculations using Amtech, Dialux, Pro-Design or equivalent software,\n\n-Preparing tender specifications and drawings for projects.\n\n-Train and support others when needed.    \n\nThis role offers a competitive salary, private healthcare and career progression.

 \n\nAs an Electrical Design Engineer you are required to have a HNC/HND/BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering and have experience working for UK based Consultancy completing detailed electrical designs for residential buildings and commercial developments using Dialux or Amtech or an equivalent software.  \n\nYou are also required to have a detailed knowledge of BS7671 (wiring regulations) and other relevant codes.   \n\nIf this role is of interest to you, please contact Jordanna Morris at Aztrum Recruitment
