Electrical Design Engineer in Dartford

Techniche Global are supporting a switchgear device manufacturer to appoint an Electrical Project Engineer.



Salary:               £40-45k per annum

Location:            Dartford- 100% onsite

Duration:           permanent, full-time

Requirements:   LRTW

Job Type:           Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm 



Key Responsibilities:



Manage projects from sales handover to project completion, ensuring specifications, timelines, and budget constraints are met.

Develop control panel / switchgear arrangements & products by studying customer requirements.

Ensuring correct selection of components from suppliers that meet with suitability, availability and budget targets.

Overseeing of product design and build stage through to installation and commissioning.

Integrate with production manager for factory production scheduling

Liaise with suppliers ensuring adherence to project schedules.

Liaise with clients, attending client site meeting, leading client FAT and SAT.

Producing Method Statements and Risk Assessments for onsite installations   

Requirements:



Professional qualification(s) in Electrical Engineering

Able to read, interpret and follow engineering drawings

Working knowledge of LV installations, HV an advantage

Experience in the specification, function and manufacture of LV switchgear, HV an advantage

Good knowledge and understanding of relevant standards

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong command of the English

Knowledge and experience of ePlan and CAD packages an advantage
