An award-winning MEP consulting firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our growing Charlotte, NC office. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on a variety of local and projects, participating in the full project lifecycle—from design through construction close-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate electrical building systems including:

  • Power distribution systems

  • Lighting systems

  • Fire alarm systems

  • Low-voltage infrastructure

  • Emergency power and UPS systems

• Coordinate service utilities with local utility providers

• Ensure compliance with city and state permitting agencies

• Participate in construction administration, including site visits and inspections

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary design teams

• Support projects through all phases: schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction close-out

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings

• Demonstrated experience supporting projects from design through final construction close-out

• Strong knowledge of building codes and energy codes

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical information to clients and project teams

Skills

• Working knowledge of Revit
