Job Description

The client, a UK & Ireland market leader in commercial and industrial scale Renewable Energy, specifically Heat Pumps, are looking for a Electrical Design Engineer to join their successful Engineering team.


(NO previous Heat Pumps experience needed - backgrounds in Renewable Energy like Solar, Construction, Building Services, Water, Oil & Gas etc are applicable if commercial / industrial scale)


The client?

The client, 17+ years established in Renewable Energy, are the UK market leader for commercial & industrial Heat Pumps installs, breaking UK records for projects sizes, ranging from 1 - 8.5MegaWatt (£1 - 8 million). As the pipeline continues to grow they are now looking to add to the Electrical design team - they have maintained a fairly small but high performing team.


The package?

  • £60,000 - 70,000 basic
  • Profit share % + annual pay review
  • Hybrid work (3-4 days a week in the Brough HQ)


Who they're looking for?

Someone who wants to play an integral part in real growth and not be a cog in a big machine. They are looking for someone who holds a qualification in Electrical Engineering and has experience in the following...


  • Electrical Controls and Design - develop and review Functional Design Specifications (FDS) to define system operations, ensuring clarity in control logic and interfaces
  • Create and maintain single-line diagrams (SLDs), control schematics, and layout drawings using AutoCAD.


Backgrounds in commercial Renewable Energy, LV & HV installs, sub stations, grid or construction etc will be relevant.
