A master’s degree would be excellent\nPreferably possess some experience of large marine electrical installations, with an understanding of the complexities and challenges in the marine sector\nExpertise in ATEX/IEC Ex rated installations is desired, with a strong focus on safety and compliance in explosive atmospheres\nProficiency with a professional electrical drawing package is essential - EPlan is the choice\nExcellent communication skills and a collaborative team player, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to a diverse team\nAny background of working in the marine sector is useful. Even if it's where you started your career before moving on, having an appreciation of how the industry works will very much help in this role.
