Turner Lovell is supporting a global engineering firm that designs and integrates advanced energy conversion systems for industrial and infrastructure clients. With a solid footprint across electrification, marine, and energy markets, they are known for delivering impactful solutions that reduce emissions and improve power efficiency. As their project portfolio expands, we are looking for a Low Voltage Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
This role is ideal for an electrotechnical specialist who enjoys hands-on design work, technical coordination, and working on cutting-edge energy systems.

Your Role: You will be responsible for the design, specification, and technical coordination of low-voltage systems within complex power infrastructure projects. From schematic design to supplier interaction, your work will directly support successful system delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed LV distribution and motor control schematics.
  • Design wiring layouts and interface connection plans for site installation.
  • Specify key electrotechnical components (e.g. transformers, breakers, PLCs).
  • Design and document panel layouts, cabinets, consoles, and integration specs.
  • Manage your project schedule and budget tracking for electrical design packages.
  • Supervise and review work completed by subcontractors and external teams.
  • Act as the technical interface with suppliers and coordinate with purchasing, engineering, and project management teams.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree or technician-level background in Electrical Engineering or Electrotechnics.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in low-voltage electrical design for industrial systems.
  • Familiarity with IEC and/or UL electrical standards.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D; experience with EPlan, Schemelect, or CREO is a plus.
  • Comfortable with technical documentation and structured design processes.
  • Knowledge of VBA programming is a bonus.
  • Fluent in French and comfortable working in English.
  • Must be eligible to work in France; relocation support not provided.
