Electrical Design Engineer\n\nAnnual Salary: £50,000-£55,000\nLocation: Gateshead\nJob Type: PermanentExciting opportunity for an Electrical Design, Service and Commissioning Engineer within our client's Service/Engineering Department. This role is integral to the development of their organisation, focusing on maintaining and enhancing current business performance.\n\nDay-to-day of the role:\n\nConduct onsite service work, including commissioning, installation, service, repair, and updates of all equipment manufactured and supplied by the company.\nProvide service support and manufacturing support, particularly in machine commissioning.\nEngage in engineering design for current products and new product developments, both hardware and software.\nIdentify and implement design improvements to enhance functionality and efficiency.Required Skills & Qualifications:\n\nHNC/HND/degree in electrical/electronic engineering\nSeveral years of experience in control systems hardware and software design, commissioning, and support, preferably in a machine-building environment.\nProficiency with PLC's\nKnowledge of current safety and EMC legislation relating to electrical control systems.\nWillingness and ability to travel internationally when required.\nExperience in CODESYS programming is desirable.\nFamiliarity with CE requirements and safety of machinery standards (BSEN60204/13849/62061) is advantageous.\nProficient in using CAD packages to produce schematic diagrams, control panel layouts, assembly diagrams, and terminal layouts.Benefits:\n\nComprehensive training provided to support your development.\nOvertime available for additional earning potential.\nOpportunity to work on innovative engineering projects.\nSupportive team environment with career progression opportunities.To apply for this position, please submit your CV detailing your relevant experience and why you are interested in this role
