Electrical Design Engineer\n\nPeterborough\n\n£40.00ph\n\nRemote - 40 Hour Week\n\nOnsite visit will be required for Concept &Commissioning.\n\nInitial 3 Months contract \n\nOur client provides complete turnkey solutions for process plants. Services include site surveys, full plant design, and the manufacture of equipment. They manage the entire project from installation through to commissioning.
In addition to offering after-sales service contracts and maintenance support, they have a dedicated Software & Systems team that delivers control systems (PLC & SCADA) to both process and non-process sectors. The company also specialises in compliance engineering, asset care, and asset management.\n\nThe role of Electrical Design Engineer will involve the following\n\nGenerate panel layouts and bills of materials.\nLV distribution and cable calculations.\nGenerating electrical control schematic diagrams.\nGenerating instrument loop diagrams/cable block diagrams.\nGenerating PLC wiring diagrams and I/O schedules.\nMachinery safety circuit design and risk assessments to BS EN ISO 13849/60261.\nPreparation of supporting technical & installation documents.\nLiaise with site teams to meet project deadlines.\nParticipate in project commissioning & safety validation.\nWork in a safe and sustainable way.\nYou will also have to visit various sites potentially a few times a month.\nMust have own AutoCAD licence. \nInstall of new and old modification.\nExperience in the following\n\nElectrical Design experience with Control Panels and Control Panel Modification\nUse of AutoCAD\nExperience within the food industry or within Engineering.\nQualification Required \n\nElectrical apprenticeship or qualification served 18th Edition\nATA Recruitment specialises in Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Civil, Transportation and general Engineering recruitment on both a permanent and contract basis – for more opportunities like this one, visit our website - \n\nBy applying you accept the terms of our Privacy Notice which can be found on our website \n\nTo be considered for this role please either hit the 'Apply' button on this site or email your CV directly to (url removed) or call me on (phone number removed)\n\nYou must be eligible to live and work within the UK.
