Job DescriptionJob Description
We are seeking an Electrical Design (Building Systems / MEP) to become an integral part of our team! You will assist in the research, design and development of electrical components and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and install electrical components and systems
- Assess and modify existing power distribution systems
- Troubleshoot relay and data system designs
- Research and document relay test results
- Track project time lines to complete tasks on schedule
- Ensure reliable operation of equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of relay design standards
- Excellent root cause analysis skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
Industries include:
· Pharmaceutical
· Chemical manufacturing

· Offices and labs
· General manufacturing and warehousing
Key responsibilities:
· Write and tailor electrical specifications
· Perform load calculations and lighting calculations
· Create electrical drawings for power, lighting, telecom/data, and security
· Maintain panel schedules and circuit documentation
· Lay out electrical devices from architectural backgrounds
· Select components and equipment (research, model selection, documentation)
· Visit job sites to verify field conditions
· Coordinate with engineers, clients, contractors, and construction staff
Desired skills and experience:
· 2–10 years in electrical design or facility engineering
· Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
· Ability to handle shifting priorities and multiple active projects
· Strong communication and organization skills
· Willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
