Electrical Day Shift Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Office Building – Green Park, London – £48,000 per annum \n\nCBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to be based at a commercial office building located near Green Park, London. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established FM service provider working within a commercial office building.\n\n The successful candidate will be electrically qualified (C&G/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working as part of a small on-site maintenance team of two engineers, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical, mechanical, and general building services maintenance across the site.\n\n In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £48,000, plenty of overtime opportunities, private healthcare, and strong career progression within a well-established organisation.\n\nPackage:\nSalary: £48,000 per annum\n20 Days Holiday\nPlenty of overtime available\nUniform and tools provided\nCycle to work scheme\nAnnual pay review\nPrivate healthcare\nExcellent career progression opportunities\n Hours of Work: \n4 on 4 off / 6 on 4 off / 4 on 6 off\n07:00 am – 19:00 pm\n\n Key Duties & Responsibilities:\nElectrical maintenance, including lighting, lamp changes, ballast replacements, small installations, control panels and power distribution.\nEmergency lighting inspections and maintenance.\nAir conditioning maintenance, including AHUs and FCUs (filter changes, cleaning and basic servicing).\nChiller resets and first-line fault diagnosis.\nWater treatment monitoring, including temperature checks.\nMonitoring and maintenance of mechanical plant, pumps and motors.\nBasic plumbing maintenance, including unblocking toilets and minor repairs.\nMonitoring the BMS system, including hot and cold checks.\nCarrying out all allocated tasks professionally and within required time frames.\nProactively identifying and resolving faults within building services equipment.\nEnsuring health & safety compliance and reporting any issues when required.\nMaintaining clear communication with client staff and site management.\nEscorting specialist subcontractors when required.\nRequirements:\nElectrically qualified – Level 3 (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge\nProven track record in commercial building maintenance\nExperience working within large commercial or critical buildings\nMust be able to provide copies of trade certificates (essential)\nMulti-skilled across electrical, mechanical and general building services\nStrong communication and client-facing skills\nMust be able to attend the site for a 07:00 am startPlease send your CV to Alex Denton at CBW Staffing Solutions to avoid missing out on this opportunity
