POSITION SUMMARY
The Electrical Controls Quality Technician ensures the quality and functionality of electrical control systems by applying expertise in electrical drawings, control wiring theory, and troubleshooting. This role involves performing start-up and testing procedures, assisting with electrical engineering design, and maintaining quality control documents. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, shop equipment, and strong attention to detail are key to success.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Excel in electrical drawing understanding
- Excel in electrical wiring theory
- Excel in quality assurance
- Ability to perform input/output trouble shooting techniques
- Ability to perform start up and testing procedures
- Ability to assist in electrical engineering design
- Ability to utilize all printers and shop equipment
- Ability to utilize Microsoft office
- Ability to create and maintain quality control documents
- Must exhibit a high level of attention to detail
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in electrical quality control
- Electrical course work in control logic
- At least 5 years of experience industrial controls
- At least 4 years of quality control experience
